Jack Wathen vs Yves Delorme

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 22/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Wathen (12(11) - 0) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Yves Delorme(3(1) - 14 - 5) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Wathen and Delorme weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Green, and the three ringside judges are Billy Ruane, Nathan Fitzgerald and Lee Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Wathen connects with a solid left uppercut.

Wathen connects with a WICKED right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE DELORME WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Delorme recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Delorme steps to the outside.  Wathen lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.

Wathen is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Delorme tries to keep the action at long range.  Wathen lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Wathen lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Delorme is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Wathen hits home with a solid overhand left.  
Wathen gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Delorme's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Delorme's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Delorme's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Wathen throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Wathen is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Delorme recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Wathen lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING DELORME TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Wathen advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Delorme recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Wathen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING DELORME TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Delorme cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Wathen!
