Sid Novy vs Kenzie Shirah

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Telo Latham Gym, Montreal,  taking place on 21/05/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Novy (21 - 18(1) - 3) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Kenzie Shirah(15 - 11(2)) from Lonueuil, Canada.  Both Novy and Shirah weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Mark Mostyn and Sinjon Bellanger.  

Round 1: 

Novy advances into close range.  Shirah drives a right hook into Novy's body.  
Novy tries to step out of his opponents range.  Shirah finds the target with a sharp jab.
