Noel Reece vs Ed McVay

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Portsmouth Guildhall, Portsmouth,  taking place on 09/06/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Southern England Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Noel Reece (16(15) - 0) who hails from Portsmouth, UK and Ed McVay(13 - 20(2) - 6) from London, UK.  Both Reece and McVay weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Priddy, and the three ringside judges are Aeron Wyburn, Brendan Malone and Mark Cossutta.  

Round 1: 

Reece feints a left, and then lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.

Reece sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Reece crashes a mean right hook to McVay's ribs.  MCVAY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like McVay has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
McVay walks Reece down, trapping him on the ropes.  Reece lands a jab.
