Massimo Gualandi vs Alejandro Vidrio

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Palacio de los Deportes, Madrid,  taking place on 18/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Massimo Maximum Gualandi (14(8) - 0) who hails from Venice, Italy and Alejandro Vidrio(12 - 12(1) - 3) from Granada, Spain.  Both Gualandi and Vidrio weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Casiano, and the three ringside judges are Xavion Guardado, Diego Ledezma and Jose Carranco.  

Round 1: 

Vidrio feints a jab, but Gualandi is not fooled and lands with a stinging left uppercut.  
Gualandi gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Gualandi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Gualandi advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Vidrio is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gualandi lands a hard jab.  
Gualandi gets on the inside.  Gualandi pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Gualandi drives a left uppercut into Vidrio's body.  
Gualandi walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Gualandi lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Gualandi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gualandi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gualandi digs in a solid left uppercut to Vidrio's ribs.  Gualandi tries to land a right hook, but Vidrio blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gualandi lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Gualandi clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Gualandi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gualandi is looking to force the stoppage!  Gualandi SLAMS a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  VIDRIO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Vidrio has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Gualandi closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Gualandi ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Gualandi pushes his forearm into Vidrio's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gualandi lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Gualandi lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Vidrio switches the action to the outside.  Gualandi hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Gualandi lands a jab to the head, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the body.  
Gualandi steps to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Gualandi steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Gualandi gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Gualandi closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Gualandi holds on to his opponent.  Gualandi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gualandi.  
Gualandi steps inside.  Gualandi pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Vidrio's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Vidrio's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Vidrio's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Vidrio switches the action to the outside.  Gualandi feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gualandi steps inside.  Gualandi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Gualandi lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gualandi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Vidrio switches the action to the outside.  Gualandi lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Gualandi hits home with a stinging cross.  
Vidrio switches the action to the outside.  Gualandi lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gualandi lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Gualandi lands a sharp jab.  
Gualandi advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Vidrio tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gualandi hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Gualandi closes the distance and drives a left hook into Vidrio's body.  
Gualandi walks Vidrio into the corner.  Gualandi lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Gualandi could be enough to finish Vidrio!  Gualandi lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND VIDRIO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Gualandi lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING VIDRIO TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Gualandi!
