Arun Midaliar vs Jawad Khan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Gujurat University Convention Hall, Ahmedabad,  taking place on 26/04/2033:

Clearly AI India-Gujurat have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Gujurat Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arun Midaliar (23(2) - 1) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Jawad Khan(19 - 6 - 2) from Ahmedabad, India.  Midaliar weighed in at 148 pounds and 6 ounces, while Khan weighed in at 147 pounds.    As Midaliar came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Anupam Rana, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Shakoor, Zuffur Nazir and Rehman Samaan.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Midaliar.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
