Quiqui Platero vs Floyd Archibeque

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Cavite promoted show at Bacoor Talao, Bacoor,  taking place on 31/05/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quiqui Platero (13(4) - 3) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Floyd Archibeque(19 - 4) from Dasmarinas, Philippines.  Platero weighed in at 147 pounds, while Archibeque weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Utak, and the three ringside judges are Jose Salire, Rodrigo Garzon and Peter Lungay.  

Round 1: 

Platero closes the distance and drives a right hook into Archibeque's ribs.

Platero steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
As Platero tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Archibeque dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Archibeque throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.
