Pancho Mayor vs Javier Gordillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Poku Promotions promoted show at Santa Rosa Murrillo, Santa Rosa,  taking place on 01/06/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pancho Mayor (15(8) - 1) who hails from Santa Rosa, Philippines and Javier Gordillo(13 - 19 - 2) from Calamba, Philippines.  Both Mayor and Gordillo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Talaro, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Canas, Jeraldo Canas and Darryl Emuslan.  

Round 1: 

Mayor closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Gordillo's liver.  Mayor clinches his opponent.  Mayor pushes his forearm into Gordillo's face.  The referee warns Mayor and breaks the clinch.  
Mayor lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mayor holds on to his opponent.  Mayor leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mayor feints a jab, and then connects with a cross.  
Mayor gets on the inside.  Gordillo throws a left hook, but Mayor clinches his opponent.  Mayor leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mayor closes the distance and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  Mayor clinches his opponent.  Mayor leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mayor's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gordillo switches the action to the outside.  Mayor lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Mayor steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Mayor lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Mayor lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gordillo almost instantly recovers.
