Joseph Murphy vs Mark Markey

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing Promotions promoted show at Cincinnati Schappert, Cincinnati,  taking place on 06/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joseph Murphy (23 - 4(2) - 2) who hails from Columbus, USA and Mark Markey(16 - 14(1) - 3) from Columbus, USA.  Murphy weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces, while Markey weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Marean, and the three ringside judges are Phil Hines, Paul Strassman and Rob Monaghan.  

Round 1: 

Murphy lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Markey advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Murphy ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Murphy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
