Nao Suzuki vs Declan Armstrong

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 25/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nao Suzuki (9(2) - 0) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Declan Armstrong(11 - 10(3) - 2) from Surrey, Canada.  Suzuki weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces, while Armstrong weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paris Clarin, and the three ringside judges are Henry Popkin, Jasper Kopa and Phil Pearce.  

Round 1: 

Suzuki steps inside.  Armstrong wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Suzuki has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut in the corner of.  
Armstrong attempts to land a cross, but Suzuki slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Suzuki is on target with a right hook.  
Suzuki pivots from in front of his opponent.  Suzuki lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Suzuki clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Armstrong pushes his forearm into Suzuki's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Suzuki feints a right hook, and then hits home with a solid cross.  
Suzuki advances into close range.  Armstrong tries to land a left hook, but Suzuki sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Suzuki throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Suzuki holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Armstrong pushes his forearm into Suzuki's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Suzuki pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Armstrong is looking to close the distance.  Suzuki pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Suzuki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Suzuki dabs at his face checking for damage.  Suzuki has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Suzuki sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Armstrong throws a left hook, but Suzuki holds on to his opponent.  Suzuki pushes his forearm into Armstrong's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Suzuki pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Suzuki manages to force Armstrong onto the ropes.  Suzuki snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Suzuki closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Armstrong's body.  
Suzuki lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Armstrong advances into close range.  Suzuki pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Suzuki attempts to land a cross, but Armstrong sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Armstrong gets on the inside.  Suzuki lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Suzuki ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Suzuki pushes his forearm into Armstrong's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Suzuki about fouling.  
Suzuki retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Armstrong is whaling away with hooks, but Suzuki keeps his defence tight.  
Suzuki lands a left hook.  
Armstrong gets on the inside.  Suzuki lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Suzuki lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Armstrong's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Armstrong's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Armstrong's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Suzuki steps inside.  Armstrong attempts to land a left hook, but Suzuki slips the shot and counters with a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  ARMSTRONG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Armstrong almost instantly recovers. 
Suzuki digs in a left hook to Armstrong's body.  
Suzuki is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Armstrong drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Armstrong feints a left, and then throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Suzuki closes the distance.  Armstrong attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Suzuki time to recover.  
Suzuki tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS ARMSTRONG TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Suzuki!
