Ben Devlin vs David Faulds

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Foxwoods Theatre, New Haven,  taking place on 06/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Devlin (12 - 1) who hails from Waterbury, USA and David Faulds(5 - 14(1) - 1) from Waterbury, USA.  Devlin weighed in at 112 pounds, while Faulds weighed in at 111 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andy Swaney, and the three ringside judges are Gus Phemister, Hayden Blacketer and Dale Carse.  

Round 1: 

Devlin finds the target with a jab.  
Devlin lands a cross.  Devlin tries to land a left uppercut, but Faulds blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Devlin lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Devlin throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Devlin closes the distance.  Devlin backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Faulds is whaling away with hooks, but Devlin keeps his defence tight.  
Devlin steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Devlin closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Faulds gets on the inside.  Devlin is on target with a right hook.  
Devlin advances into close range.  Faulds attempts to land a right hook, but Devlin slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Devlin finds the target with a jab.  
Devlin lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Devlin is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Devlin lands a cross to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body, AND KNOCKS FAULDS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Devlin lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES FAULDS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Devlin!
