Jawad Sajjad vs Farhan Dallal

Boxing Daily Report from the Nashanian Promotions promoted show at Riyadh Abaza, Riyadh,  taking place on 15/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Saudi TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jawad Sajjad (21 - 14 - 6) who hails from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Farhan Dallal(18(5) - 4) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Both Sajjad and Dallal weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Abozaid, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Roshed, Rashid Hamed and Imran Nazari.  

Round 1: 

Dallal advances into close range and drives a sharp right hook into Sajjad's body.  
Sajjad is looking to keep his distance.  Dallal hits home with a firm cross.

Dallal lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Dallal is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Dallal holds on to his opponent.  Dallal pushes his forearm into Sajjad's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Dallal attempts to land a left hook, but Sajjad blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Dallal manouvers Sajjad into the corner.  Dallal lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Sajjad recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dallal lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Dallal lands a left hook.  
Dallal lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Sajjad almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Dallal throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Dallal clinches his opponent.  Dallal leans on his opponent using all his weight. Dallal uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sajjad behind the head. 
Sajjad switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dallal steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Sajjad in a corner.  Dallal lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Dallal holds on to his opponent.  Dallal is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dallal lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Dallal clinches his opponent.  Dallal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Dallal pushes his forearm into Sajjad's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Sajjad quickly recovers.

Dallal gets on the inside.  Sajjad throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dallal throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Dallal ties up his opponent.  Dallal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Dallal pushes his forearm into Sajjad's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dallal about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sajjad's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Sajjad's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Dallal lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Dallal stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Dallal lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS SAJJAD TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Sajjad now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Dallal connects with a nasty right hook.  SAJJAD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Sajjad quickly recovers.

That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  Sajjad almost instantly gets his legs back.
