Shaun Faulkner vs Zachary Whitton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-South Australia promoted show at Adelaide Giunti, Adelaide,  taking place on 17/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-South Australia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shaun Faulkner (13 - 12(2) - 3) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Zachary Whitton(13 - 6(6)) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Faulkner and Whitton weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Hammel, and the three ringside judges are Richie MacRae, Richie MacRae and Adam Pennison.  

Round 1: 

Whitton steps inside.  Whitton pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Faulkner's liver.  
Whitton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Whitton pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Whitton walks Faulkner down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Whitton lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Whitton switches the action to the outside.  Faulkner lands a jab.  
Whitton drives a jab into his opponents body.

Whitton gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Whitton gets on the inside and forces Faulkner to back into the ropes.  Whitton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Faulkner's ribs.  
Whitton lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Whitton lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Faulkner switches the action to the outside.  Whitton drives a jab into Faulkner's body.  
Whitton advances into close range and digs in a powerful left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE FAULKNER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Whitton manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Whitton is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Whitton lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, DROPPING FAULKNER TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Faulkner has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Whitton pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a solid cross to his opponents body.

Whitton leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Faulkner attempts to land a left hook, but Whitton sidesteps and counters with a cross.
