Timofei Simonich vs Daniil Volkonsky

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Perm Krai promoted show at Perm Abramov, Perm,  taking place on 17/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Russia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Timofei Simonich (18 - 11(4) - 1) who hails from Novosibirsk, Russia and Daniil Volkonsky(26(13) - 0) from Berezniki, Russia.  Both Simonich and Volkonsky weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Georgiy Yesheyev, and the three ringside judges are Luka Sadowski, Aleksei Troubetzkoy and Viktor Davydov.  

Round 1: 

Simonich pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Volkonsky lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Volkonsky manages to force Simonich into a neutral corner.  Volkonsky is on target with a left hook to Simonich's body.  Volkonsky ties up his opponent.  Volkonsky pushes his forearm into Simonich's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Volkonsky lands a right uppercut.  Volkonsky clinches his opponent.  Simonich throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Simonich to stop fouling.

Volkonsky lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING SIMONICH TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.
