Quon Qu vs Wang Chong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jiangsu promoted show at Li Nie Gym, Suzhou,  taking place on 20/06/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Jiangsu Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quon Qu (9 - 12(1) - 5) who hails from Wuxi, China and Wang Chong(16 - 13(2) - 3) from Wuxi, China.  Both Qu and Chong weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xing-fu Liu, and the three ringside judges are Genjo Un, Chen Lien and Huang-fu Chai.  

Round 1: 

Qu advances into close range.  Chong is on target with a right uppercut.  Qu clinches his opponent.  Chong is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Chong and breaks the clinch.  
Chong throws a right hook, but Qu ties up his opponent.  Qu leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Qu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Chong wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Qu.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Qu's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Qu's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Chong is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Qu ties up his opponent.  Qu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Qu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Chong lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
