Sam McTaggart vs John Mackintosh

Boxing Daily Report from the Andy Harvey promoted show at Greenbank Sports Centre, Liverpool,  taking place on 18/06/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Central England Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam McTaggart (6 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Wolverhampton, UK and John Mackintosh(9(2) - 1) from Norwich, UK.  McTaggart weighed in at 118 pounds, while Mackintosh weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Bevans, and the three ringside judges are Rodric Valentine, William Taylor and Colin Bowen.  

Round 1: 

Mackintosh is looking to close the distance.  Mackintosh pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
McTaggart tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mackintosh advances into close range.  Mackintosh retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  McTaggart tries to tag Mackintosh on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
McTaggart is looking to keep his distance.  Mackintosh hits home with an overhand right.  
Mackintosh advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McTaggart tries to keep the action at long range and throws an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
