John Metro vs Ian Shortt

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Irish Club, Brisbane,  taking place on 22/06/2033:

Clearly Gold Coast Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Queensland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Metro (24 - 8(2) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Ian Shortt(8 - 9 - 4) from Cairns, Australia.  Both Metro and Shortt weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Rabb, and the three ringside judges are Darryl Maletin, Johnny Deasmhumhain and Stuart Gowan.
