Liam Mulrennan vs Sammy Roger

Boxing Daily Report from the Brachinus Explodens promoted show at National Basket Ball Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 03/07/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Liam Mulrennan (10 - 7 - 3) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Mammy Sammy Roger(8(4) - 0) from Dublin, Ireland.  Mulrennan weighed in at 112 pounds, while Roger weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Dillon, and the three ringside judges are Mel Mohan, Michael Sloan and Brandon Madigan.  

Round 1: 

Roger steps inside.  Roger pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Roger lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Roger clinches his opponent.  Roger pushes his forearm into Mulrennan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Roger about fouling.  
Mulrennan steps away from his opponent.  Mulrennan could be stopped here, if Roger can find the right shot!  Roger SLAMS a SAVAGE right hook into his opponents face.  MULRENNAN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Mulrennan now seems to have got his legs back.  
Mulrennan attempts to land a cross, but Roger sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Roger steps inside.  Roger backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Mulrennan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Roger blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Roger lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Roger steps inside and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Roger ties up his opponent.  Roger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Roger to stop fouling.  
Mulrennan steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Mulrennan feints a cross, but Roger does not fall for it and is on target with a right hook.  
Mulrennan steps away from his opponent and attempts to land an overhand left, but Roger sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Roger lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Roger lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Roger hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Roger lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mulrennan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Roger steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Mulrennan is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Roger steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mulrennan is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Roger dodges the shot and counters with a forceful left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE MULRENNAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mulrennan quickly recovers. 
Mulrennan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Roger lands a left hook.  Roger ties up his opponent.  Roger leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Roger finds the target with a jab.  
Roger advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Mulrennan pivots from in front of his opponent.  Roger lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Roger closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Roger is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Roger drives a right hook into Mulrennan's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mulrennan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Mulrennan tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Mulrennan is on target with a jab.  
Mulrennan connects with an overhand right.  
Mulrennan lands an overhand left.  
Mulrennan lands an overhand left.  
Roger tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Roger is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mulrennan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Roger closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  Roger holds on to his opponent.  Mulrennan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Roger lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND MULRENNAN IS DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Roger!
