Hassan Hamed vs Aftab Awad

Boxing Daily Report from the Chitambo Promotions promoted show at Dubai Tahir, Dubai,  taking place on 23/06/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the UAE Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Abu Dhabi Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hassan Hamed (7 - 1) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Aftab Awad(6 - 2) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Hamed and Awad weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Ghanem, and the three ringside judges are Haider Albishi, Asif Hamra and Gazi Maalouf.
