Edmondo Battaglia vs Alessio Bresso

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Veneto promoted show at Nero Vinay Gym, Padua,  taking place on 26/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Veneto Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmondo Battaglia (3 - 7 - 2) who hails from Venice, Italy and Alessio Bresso(13 - 6(1) - 4) from Verona, Italy.  Battaglia weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces, while Bresso weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mariano Zurio, and the three ringside judges are Valentino Alberici, Pepe Tasca and Valentino Fausto.  

Round 1: 

Bresso is on target with a right hook to Battaglia's body.

Bresso advances into close range.  Battaglia throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Battaglia clinches his opponent.  Battaglia tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bresso's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Battaglia to stop fouling.  
Battaglia wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bresso dabs at his face checking for damage.
