Kaede Kimoto vs Takeshi Hashimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Kawata, Kobe,  taking place on 28/06/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kaede Kimoto (18 - 16(1) - 4) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Takeshi Hashimoto(20(5) - 0) from Amagasaki, Japan.  Kimoto weighed in at 147 pounds, while Hashimoto weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fumio Matsuno, and the three ringside judges are Hajime Nishioka, Aoi Ohno and Takeo Fukunaga.  

Round 1: 

Hashimoto gets on the inside.  Kimoto throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hashimoto is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hashimoto forces Kimoto to retreat onto the ropes.  Hashimoto lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

He follows up the attack and lands two straights followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Kimoto now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Hashimoto lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  As Hashimoto tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kimoto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kimoto is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hashimoto lands with a solid jab.  
Hashimoto steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook to Kimoto's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE KIMOTO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kimoto almost instantly recovers. 
Hashimoto steps inside and drives a left uppercut into Kimoto's body.  
Hashimoto is on target with a left uppercut to Kimoto's ribs.  
Hashimoto is looking to close the distance.  Hashimoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Hashimoto closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kimoto almost instantly recovers. 
Hashimoto lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hashimoto drives a left uppercut into Kimoto's body.  
Kimoto switches the action to the outside.  Kimoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hashimoto hits home with an overhand left.

Hashimoto lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS KIMOTO!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Kimoto recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kimoto steps to the outside.  Hashimoto connects with a cross.  Hashimoto attempts to land a jab, but Kimoto slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hashimoto lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING KIMOTO DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Kimoto quickly recovers.

Kimoto goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Hashimoto time to recover.
