Ewan Ness vs Ethan Ashdown

Boxing Daily Report from the Kapenta Promotions promoted show at Robert Llewellyn Gym, Athens,  taking place on 28/06/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Ness (8 - 3 - 2) who hails from Macon, USA and Ethan Ashdown(21 - 8(1) - 1) from Atlanta, USA.  Ness weighed in at 126 pounds, while Ashdown weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Edward Brand, and the three ringside judges are Chris Troupe, Noel Lawther and Richard Rutherford.

Ness steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Ashdown blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ness.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
