Ilham Muhtarov vs Mehman Darwish

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Muzaffar Allakhyarov Gym, Baku,  taking place on 07/07/2021:

Clearly Njoroge Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ilham Muhtarov (6 - 0) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Mehman Darwish(5 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Muhtarov and Darwish weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ahmed Beibutov, and the three ringside judges are Vahid Jamal, Alesger Aslanov and Khamis Gadjibabayev.  

Round 1: 

Darwish steps inside.  Muhtarov sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Darwish lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
