Ray Barthez vs Mark East

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Windsor Hotel Ballroom, Montreal,  taking place on 25/07/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ray Barthez (15(8) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Mark East(19 - 19(8) - 1) from Houston, USA.  Both Barthez and East weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Hathorne, and the three ringside judges are Launcelot Rozenthal, Laurent Marceau and Germain Baute.  

Round 1: 

Barthez steps inside and digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
East pivots to the right of his opponent.  East throws a right hook, but Barthez ties up his opponent.  Barthez is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Barthez and breaks the clinch.  
Barthez is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging left hook to East's body.  
Barthez manouvers East onto the ropes.  Barthez lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

East switches the action to the outside.  Barthez is on target with a sharp cross.

Barthez senses East is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Barthez whips in a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  EAST IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  East now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
