Ian Shanklin vs Joshua Shirer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Hamilton Bethune, Hamilton,  taking place on 30/06/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Shanklin (9 - 19 - 2) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Joshua Shirer(2 - 5 - 5) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Shanklin weighed in at 146 pounds And 7 ounces, while Shirer weighed in at 147 pounds And 12 ounces.    As Shirer came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Jack Carse, and the three ringside judges are Eti Manihera, George Irihapete and Billy Donald.
