Cris Rondon vs Fausto Corong

Boxing Daily Report from the Makweembo Promotions promoted show at Manuel Capellan Gym, General Trias,  taking place on 01/07/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Rondon (3 - 8) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Fausto Corong(6 - 21(1) - 4) from Imus, Philippines.  Both Rondon and Corong weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Larenzo Digamon, and the three ringside judges are Jose Salire, Xaverius Binayas and Alejandro Telleria.  

Round 1: 

Corong hits home with a cross.  
Corong manages to force Rondon into a corner.  Rondon is on target with a right hook.  Corong wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rondon dabs at his face checking for damage.
