Rocco Catanoso vs Alen Puller

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Aviator Field House, New York City,  taking place on 22/07/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rocco Catanoso (6(1) - 0) who hails from Genoa, Italy and Alen Puller(23 - 14(1) - 2) from Fort Wayne, USA.  Catanoso weighed in at 249 pounds and 15 ounces, while Puller weighed in at 246 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Pizzinato, and the three ringside judges are Cristiano Grimaldi, David Fidler and Theo Page.  

Round 1: 

Puller steps inside.  Catanoso pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.

The referee separates the two fighters and warns Catanoso.  Puller wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Catanoso dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Puller gets on the inside.  Catanoso is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.
