Rex Akinlade vs Majid Khalili

Boxing Daily Report from the Adumensa Promotions promoted show at Gareth Babayaro Gym, Maiduguri,  taking place on 01/07/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Akinlade (14 - 20 - 3) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Majid Khalili(3 - 22 - 2) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Akinlade weighed in at 125 pounds and 7 ounces, while Khalili weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theophilus Aliu, and the three ringside judges are Ike Ararume, Obaid Shariff and Syed Hariri.
