Gig Pequeno vs John Catubig

Boxing Daily Report from the Obodom Promotions promoted show at Federico Opus Gym, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 02/07/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Pequeno (17 - 13 - 4) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and John Catubig(4 - 2) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Pequeno and Catubig weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Palaganas, and the three ringside judges are Xaver Cabatana, Jonathan Makiling and Gonzalo Alikpala.  

Round 1: 

Catubig attempts to land a cross, but Pequeno parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
