John Quigg vs John Deas

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 23/07/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Quigg (8(2) - 0) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and John Deas(6 - 9(1) - 4) from Mississauga, Canada.  Both Quigg and Deas weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Destin Dauphin, and the three ringside judges are Carvell Brame, Jasper Kopa and Gerard Segalen.  

Round 1: 

Quigg gets on the inside.  Deas tries to land a right hook, but Quigg sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Quigg drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  Quigg holds on to his opponent.  Quigg leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Quigg's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Quigg steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  Quigg holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Quigg pushes his forearm into Deas's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Quigg about fouling.  
Deas attempts to land a cross, but Quigg slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Quigg manouvers Deas into a corner.  Quigg lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Quigg holds on to his opponent.  Quigg leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Deas throws a right hook, but Quigg clinches his opponent.  Quigg is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Quigg drives a left uppercut into Deas's body.  Quigg clinches his opponent.  Quigg is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Deas's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Deas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Some sustained pressure from Quigg could be enough to finish Deas!  Quigg crashes a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents body.  DEAS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Deas has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
