Thibaud Bah vs Louis Yero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Dakar Bourvil, Dakar,  taking place on 07/07/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Thibaud Bah (27(5) - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Louis Yero(7 - 8(4) - 2) from Touba, Senegal.  Both Bah and Yero weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yves Diedhiou, and the three ringside judges are Boyce Perec, Newell Nodine and Mallory Saheli.  

Round 1: 

Bah lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Bah clinches his opponent.  Bah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bah hits home with a left hook.  
Bah lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Bah holds on to his opponent.  Bah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Yero's kidney. Bah is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bah to stop fouling.  
Bah is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  Bah clinches his opponent.  Bah is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Bah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Yero's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bah lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Bah lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Yero gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Bah holds on to his opponent.  Bah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Yero's kidney. The ref breaks Bah's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Bah manages to force Yero onto the ropes.  Bah pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

As Yero tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bah dabs at his face checking for damage.  Bah has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.

Yero throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yero's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Yero's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Yero's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Bah manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Bah connects with a stinging left uppercut.
