Valeri Polukhin vs Aleksei Smirnov

Boxing Daily Report from the Simambe Promotions promoted show at Melor Kabanov Gym, Volgograd,  taking place on 29/06/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Russia-Volgograd Oblast Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valeri Polukhin (15 - 19(1) - 7) who hails from Volzhsky, Russia and Aleksei Smirnov(20(3) - 1) from Volgograd, Russia.  Polukhin weighed in at 126 pounds, while Smirnov weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Koldan Makarov, and the three ringside judges are Marlen Kozlovsky, Fedor Dedushkin and Timofei Dzagoev.
