Matt Dorch vs Anton Gasimov

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 24/07/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Dorch (13(10) - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Anton Gasimov(15 - 6 - 2) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Dorch weighed in at 147 pounds, while Gasimov weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Hyland, and the three ringside judges are Conor Whalen, Lee Taggart and Eoin McCadden.  

Round 1: 

Dorch advances into close range.  Gasimov pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dorch hits home with a stinging right hook.

Gasimov throws a left hook, but Dorch holds on to his opponent.  Dorch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Dorch lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Dorch clinches his opponent.  Dorch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gasimov tries to land a right hook, but Dorch slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Dorch lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Dorch closes the distance.  Gasimov tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dorch switches the action to the outside and hits home with a sharp overhand right.

Dorch walks Gasimov down, trapping him in the corner.  Dorch connects with a BRUTAL right uppercut.  GASIMOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Gasimov almost instantly gets his legs back.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gasimov's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Gasimov's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Gasimov's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
