Mick Verwoerd vs Phornello Segolela

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Volkswagen  Dobsonville Stadium, Soweto,  taking place on 03/09/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick Verwoerd (18(4) - 5(3) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Phornello Segolela(11(7) - 4(4)) from Umlazi, South Africa.  Both Verwoerd and Segolela weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bongani Zungu, and the three ringside judges are David Pienaar, Quannell Poku and Dillon Strydom.
