Stephen Uys vs Vandwon Mpontshane

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Volkswagen  Dobsonville Stadium, Soweto,  taking place on 03/09/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Stephen Uys (27(5) - 8(2) - 1) who hails from Roodepoort, South Africa and Vandwon Mpontshane(19 - 9(2) - 3) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Both Uys and Mpontshane weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bongani Zungu, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Strydom, David Pienaar and Quannell Poku.
