Telford Nicolai vs Baptiste Pageau

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Hallenstadion, Zurich,  taking place on 20/08/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Switzerland Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SRF, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Telford Lucky Nick Nicolai (29(27) - 3(1)) who hails from Lausanne, Switzerland and Baptiste Pageau(8 - 1) from Geneva, Switzerland.  Both Nicolai and Pageau weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Evrard Pester, and the three ringside judges are Alarik Stroebel, Roland Kutzler and Con Muller.  

Round 1: 

Nicolai lands a stinging right hook.  
Pageau sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nicolai lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nicolai lands a jab to Pageau's body.  
Nicolai steps inside and connects with a solid left hook.  Nicolai attempts to land a left uppercut, but Pageau slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Pageau gets on the inside.  Pageau pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Nicolai lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nicolai connects with a right hook.  
Pageau lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Pageau forces Nicolai to retreat onto the ropes.  Pageau pivots to the right of his opponent.  Pageau attempts to land a cross, but Nicolai slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Nicolai steps inside.  Pageau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicolai lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Nicolai steps away from his opponent.  Pageau sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nicolai lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Pageau digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Nicolai is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pageau lands an overhand right.  
Nicolai gets on the inside.  Pageau attempts to land a right hook, but Nicolai blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE PAGEAU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Pageau recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Nicolai pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.

Nicolai tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a ramrod jab.

Nicolai throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nicolai is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Pageau could be stopped here, if Nicolai can find the right shot!  Nicolai lands a MASSIVE left hook.  PAGEAU HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Pageau now seems to have his senses back.  
Pageau feints a left hook, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a big right uppercut.  PAGEAU IS HURT!  
Nicolai is looking to close the distance.  Nicolai senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Pageau and just needs the right shot.  Nicolai lands a cross, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Nicolai!
