Martyn Flanagan vs Xeres Fierro

Boxing Daily Report from the MCK MARBELLA promoted show at Gimnasio Nacional Jose Adolfo, San Salvador,  taking place on 05/08/2033:

Clearly MCK MARBELLA have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the IRBF Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 17, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Martyn Flanagan (35(15) - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Newcastle, UK and Xeres Fierro(33(22) - 4(2) - 1) from Soyapango, El Salvador.  Both Flanagan and Fierro weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Tinoco, and the three ringside judges are Marco Morino, Alejandro Torrez and Agapetus Garces.  

Round 1: 

Fierro hits home with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Flanagan has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Flanagan cuts off the ring, trapping Fierro on the ropes.  Flanagan is on target with a right hook.  Flanagan tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
