Satoshi Furuta vs Iwao Sugimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Maloian Promotions promoted show at Yutaka Yoshinaga Gym, Fukuyama,  taking place on 28/07/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Satoshi Furuta (18 - 9(1)) who hails from Fukuyama, Japan and Iwao Sugimoto(10 - 15 - 3) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Furuta weighed in at 236 pounds and 9 ounces, while Sugimoto weighed in at 248 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Suda, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Suko, Nori Oye and Keiichi Nakata.  

Round 1: 

Sugimoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Furuta lands a right hook.  Furuta holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Furuta pushes his forearm into Sugimoto's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Furuta about fouling.  
Furuta manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Furuta is on target with a right hook.

Furuta closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.
