Carlos Briceno vs Richie Ontoy

Boxing Daily Report from the Obodom Promotions promoted show at Federico Opus Gym, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 01/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Briceno (9 - 2 - 2) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Richie Ontoy(9 - 11 - 3) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Briceno and Ontoy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose De Anda, and the three ringside judges are Jose Maybituin, Jose Maybituin and Kiki Malabed.  

Round 1: 

Briceno gets on the inside.  Ontoy sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Briceno is on target with a left hook.
