Arnie McCready vs Alexander MacPherson

Boxing Daily Report from the Fuseini Promotions promoted show at Worcester Flanagan, Worcester,  taking place on 04/08/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Massachusetts Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arnie McCready (8 - 6 - 1) who hails from Boston, USA and Alexander MacPherson(16 - 2) from Boston, USA.  McCready weighed in at 159 pounds And 2 ounces, while MacPherson weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Stobie, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Hier, Sam Evans and Bart McWethy.  

Round 1: 

MacPherson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McCready attempts to land a right uppercut, but MacPherson slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
MacPherson steps inside and manages to force McCready into a corner.  MacPherson lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
McCready throws a left hook, but MacPherson clinches his opponent.  McCready tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits MacPherson's kidney. 
MacPherson lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
MacPherson gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
MacPherson connects with a left hook.  MacPherson holds on to his opponent.  MacPherson pushes his forearm into McCready's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McCready is on target with a left hook.  MacPherson ties up his opponent.  MacPherson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns MacPherson and breaks the clinch.  
McCready tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
MacPherson gets on the inside and manouvers McCready onto the ropes.  MacPherson is on target with a right uppercut.

McCready steps away from his opponent.  McCready quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  MacPherson lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
MacPherson is looking to close the distance.  McCready throws a right uppercut, but MacPherson clinches his opponent.  MacPherson pushes his forearm into McCready's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns MacPherson.  
MacPherson drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
MacPherson steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McCready switches the action to the outside.  MacPherson throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
McCready throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives MacPherson time to recover.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McCready's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  McCready's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
