Max Donoghue vs Gary Thomas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at Salt Lake City Maroun, Salt Lake City,  taking place on 06/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Utah Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Max Donoghue (8 - 12 - 3) who hails from Provo, USA and Gary Thomas(7 - 4 - 1) from West Valley City, USA.  Both Donoghue and Thomas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Faul, and the three ringside judges are Kian Ord, Neil Probert and Justin Lloyd.  

Round 1: 

Donoghue hits home with a cross.  
Thomas tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
