Michael Taggert vs Vidal Blanco

Boxing Daily Report from the High Stake Promtions promoted show at Gregor Hogg Gym, Detroit,  taking place on 27/07/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Michael Taggert (5 - 0) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Vidal Blanco(3 - 2(1) - 3) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Taggert and Blanco weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Kennan, and the three ringside judges are Mike Devin, Amon Watters and Inigo McGrath.  

Round 1: 

Taggert finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Blanco is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Taggert is looking to close the distance.  Taggert pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Taggert is on target with a solid cross.  
Taggert feints a cross, and then lands a jab.  
Taggert is looking to close the distance.  Taggert steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Blanco tries to tag Taggert on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Blanco is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.

Taggert closes the distance and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Taggert steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Taggert is looking to close the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Blanco quickly recovers.

Taggert digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Taggert closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Taggert advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Blanco's ribs.  
Taggert closes the distance.  Blanco pivots to the right of his opponent.  Taggert drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  
Taggert connects with a solid right hook.  
Taggert closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Taggert is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Taggert lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS BLANCO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Blanco now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
