Antonio Alcon vs Diego Carnero

Boxing Daily Report from the Ruzgeryan Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Trigo, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 15/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Antonio Alcon (24(1) - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Diego Carnero(2 - 7 - 6) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Alcon and Carnero weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Sahagun, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Delgadillo, Juan Claros and Diego Ribas.  

Round 1: 

Carnero steps inside.  Alcon throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Alcon clinches his opponent.  Alcon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Alcon hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As they grapple, Alcon pushes his forearm into Carnero's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.
