Quiqui Platero vs Ramirez Tigas

Boxing Daily Report from the Felix Orcales promoted show at Dasmarinas Bulahan, Dasmarinas,  taking place on 18/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quiqui Platero (14(5) - 3) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Ramirez Tigas(13(3) - 1) from Lapu-Lapu, Philippines.  Platero weighed in at 147 pounds, while Tigas weighed in at 146 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Vivar, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Arocha, Urvano Dimaporo and Carlos Macauyag.
