Desiderio Recio vs Gervasio Cantara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Neper Pando Gym, Mexico City,  taking place on 15/08/2033:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Desiderio Recio (25 - 14(2) - 7) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Gervasio Cantara(30(11) - 4(4) - 1) from Juarez, Mexico.  Both Recio and Cantara weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jerrold Raya, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Herran, Quinto Carolina and Gonzalo Barillas.  

Round 1: 

Cantara advances into close range.  Cantara pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cantara gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Cantara pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Cantara pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cantara lands two right hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Cantara holds on to his opponent.  Cantara leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Recio tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cantara behind the head. 
Cantara pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cantara pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Cantara lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Cantara clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Recio pushes his forearm into Cantara's face.  The ref breaks Cantara's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Cantara pushes his forearm into Recio's face.  The ref breaks Cantara's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
