Malcolm McAlister vs Jim McNiven

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Glasgow McAlpine, Glasgow,  taking place on 17/08/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Scotland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malcolm McAlister (10 - 3(1) - 3) who hails from Aberdeen, UK and Jim McNiven(9 - 8 - 1) from Glasgow, UK.  McAlister weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces, while McNiven weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tom Crowe, and the three ringside judges are Patrick McBeth, Hamish McBeth and David MacInnes.
