Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Dundee MacFadyen, Dundee,  taking place on 17/08/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are William McQuire (16 - 17(7) - 2) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Robert Thomas(10 - 22(3) - 4) from Glasgow, UK.  Both McQuire and Thomas weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie MacNeal, and the three ringside judges are Gordon Loch, William Owen and Peter Cullen.  

Round 1: 

McQuire advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Thomas leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McQuire accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Thomas.  
McQuire gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  McQuire clinches his opponent.  McQuire leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks McQuire's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Thomas switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross to McQuire's body.
