John Crombie vs Arran Espey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Manitoba promoted show at Lionel Beaubien Gym, Winnipeg,  taking place on 20/08/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Manitoba Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Crombie (6 - 23 - 2) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Arran Espey(6 - 4(1)) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Crombie weighed in at 160 pounds, while Espey weighed in at 159 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Steven Yale, and the three ringside judges are Ian Fiddes, Leon Thomson and Chris Kidd.  

Round 1: 

Crombie is on target with a left hook.  
Espey is looking to close the distance.  Crombie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Espey drives a right hook into Crombie's ribcage.  
Espey is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Crombie throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
