Alec Matonka vs Marques Kabubu

Boxing Daily Report from the Sangweni Promotions promoted show at Antwan Lunguzi Gym, Lusaka,  taking place on 27/06/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alec Matonka (8 - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Marques Kabubu(7 - 0) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Matonka and Kabubu weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibeamaka Urbano, and the three ringside judges are Luister Sibanda, Rich Kabaghe and Vashon Kalunga.
