Colar Desnos vs Montgomery Obie

Boxing Daily Report from the Kauseni Promotions promoted show at Villiers Belan Gym, Abidjan,  taking place on 31/07/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colar Desnos (2 - 0) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Montgomery Obie(2 - 4) from Abobo, Ivory Coast.  Both Desnos and Obie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pierre de La Fontaine, and the three ringside judges are Gregory de Pizan, Odo Larbaud and Odo Larbaud.  

Round 1: 

Desnos is looking to close the distance.  Desnos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.
