Juan Magdadarao vs Javier Lugar

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Robinsons Place General Santos, General Santos,  taking place on 12/09/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Magdadarao (20(9) - 0) who hails from Batangas City, Philippines and Javier Lugar(23(3) - 2(2) - 2) from Zamboanga City, Philippines.  Both Magdadarao and Lugar weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zelipe Lobato, and the three ringside judges are Gabriel Miron, Steven Alpay and Cris Saguinsing.  

Round 1: 

Lugar gets on the inside.  Magdadarao is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Magdadarao tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a stinging jab.  
Lugar steps inside.  Lugar voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Magdadarao tries to tag Lugar on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Magdadarao lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Lugar lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Magdadarao clinches his opponent.  Lugar pushes his forearm into Magdadarao's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lugar about fouling.
